These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BrandQL’s logo API service and related websites, apps, and APIs (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Overview of the Service
BrandQL provides logo and brand asset data based on identifiers you submit, such as domains or brand names. BrandQL is an alternative to the sunset Clearbit Logo API and similar services such as Brandfetch and Logo.dev.
Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 13 years old and have authority to bind your organization to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
License and Acceptable Use
- We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- You may not use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property rights, or misrepresent affiliation or ownership.
- You may not use any logo or brand asset provided by the Service to imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without the permission of the brand owner.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape beyond documented limits, or interfere with the Service.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of delivered assets complies with applicable trademark and usage rights.
Fair Use and Trademark Use
Some logo use may be permitted under fair use or nominative use doctrines, such as referencing a brand to describe compatibility or factual information. Fair use is context-specific and does not grant permission to use logos in a way that implies endorsement or creates confusion about affiliation. You are responsible for assessing your use and obtaining permission from rights holders when needed.
API Keys and Rate Limits
API keys are for your internal use only. You are responsible for securing them and for any usage tied to your keys. We may enforce rate limits or suspend access to protect service reliability.
Fees and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance based on the terms presented at checkout or in your order form. Usage beyond plan limits may incur overage fees. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available, but it may be interrupted or unavailable due to maintenance, outages, or factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by BrandQL or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. BrandQL does not own the logos or brand assets it delivers. Logos and brand assets delivered through the Service remain the property of their respective owners.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your license ends and your access may be revoked.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrandQL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BrandQL and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
